Are you feeling under the weather, with no appetite for food or drink due to the effects of the weather and the day's stress? If so, let me share with you a recipe for pork rib mixed vegetable soup that will bring back your appetite and give you a boost of energy.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 400 grams
- White radish - 2 pieces
- Potatoes - 2
- Tomatoes - 2
- Onion - 1
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Corn - 1 cob
- Cooking wine - 60 grams
- A pinch of salt
- White pepper - 1 tablespoon
- Water
Step-by-step instructions
(1) First, wash the pork ribs clean, then marinate them with a pinch of salt, white pepper, and cooking wine for about 15 minutes. After that, add a little water to a pot and boil the pork ribs for about 15 minutes. Once boiled for 15 minutes, skim off the foam that rises to the surface of the pot and take out the pork ribs. You can pour away the water used to boil the pork ribs.
(2) Next, add water to another pot and bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, crush the 3 cloves of garlic with the flat side of a knife and add them into the boiling water. Then add the previously boiled pork ribs along with the corn, tomatoes, potatoes, and white radish, mix them in, add a pinch of salt and a little white pepper powder, and simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes.
(3) You can adjust the taste by adding more salt and white pepper according to your preference. Once the time is up, remove it from the stove, transfer it into a bowl of your choice, and now you can enjoy this delicious pork rib mixed vegetable soup. It's truly delicious when eaten with plain white rice, so give this soup a try and cook it someday!
