For those who love salads and those who love tangy, spicy flavors, we're sharing a way to make jicama into a delicious, appetizing salad.

Shred the jicama until you have about a cup's worth.

Pound 2 tablespoons of peanuts in a mortar.

Pound 2 large green chilies and 1 piece of palm sugar. Once pounded, add 2 tablespoons of lime juice and 2 teaspoons of fish sauce, then transfer into a mixing bowl.

Pound 2 tablespoons of dried shrimp until fine. You can also grind it in a grinder, or use dried shrimp powder as a substitute. Once done, add it into the mixing bowl.

If you like, add the pounded peanuts and some dried coconut flakes as well. Also add the shredded jicama. Once everything is added, mix it well.

Slice 1 onion and add it in, along with a little sliced garlic. Slice in about 3 kaffir lime leaves. If you like coriander, add some and mix everything together.

Once mixed, transfer it onto a plate and it's ready to eat. Now you have a delicious, tangy and spicy jicama salad.
