Greetings everyone.. August 31, Yangon – For food lovers, Babett Eatery & Bar will be launching its newly revamped menu on Tuesday, September 1, so mark it on your calendars right now!

To enjoy the exciting new dishes freshly introduced by Babett, local ingredients are being prepared simultaneously as dishes influenced by both Mediterranean and French styles.

While there's a saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," especially in the F&B world, sometimes certain things need to change. In order to feel refreshed once again, Babett has upgraded its menu by incorporating dishes creatively combined with locally produced Myanmar ingredients.

Babett's popular pizzas, pastas, and grilled meats remain on the current menu, but you're also invited to try the exceptional and delicious new dishes.

The new menu, specially prepared by Executive Chef Xavier and his team, will be cooked using only trusted local farmers' Myanmar prawns, fresh fish from Mekay Kyun Swal, as well as locally grown organic vegetables.

Chef Xavier shared his experience of connecting with local farmers, saying: "Since we get to live in such a beautiful country as Myanmar, which is also a country where high-quality ingredients from both land and sea are available, it's important for me and my team to support the agricultural sector. By collaborating with local producers to create Babett's new menu, we aim to highlight the ingredients used in each dish even more."

The new dishes prepared by Chef Xavier's team are —

  • House-smoked salmon paired with lemon marinade, oil-cured local tomatoes, and Japanese soy-yuzu sauce
  • Tuna Tartare paired with avocado, mango, and house-made lemon Chantilly
  • Vegetarian dishes made using only fresh, locally grown organic produce, and
  • Chef Xavier's signature Lime Tart – a dessert made with lime curd topped with Italian meringue, offering a delightful sweet-and-sour flavor

In line with Babett's commitment to sustainability and supporting local farmers and producers, the newly prepared menu has been revamped once again with fresh local ingredients. From lunch to dinner, along with special weekly promotions, there's always something to choose from on the menu for everyone, whether dining inside the restaurant or out on the terrace.

New Weekly Promotions

To give both old and new friends more choices of food and drinks, the Babett team has rolled out new weekly promotions.

  • Every Monday, a half-meter pizza of your choice of flavor for 12,000 kyats
  • Every Tuesday, pork ribs to share with friends for 9,000 kyats, or add free-flow beer for just 6,000 kyats per person, from 5 PM to 9 PM
  • Desserts to make your sweet dreams come true! Enjoy 10% off any dessert daily from 2 PM to 5 PM
  • Every Sunday, Babett's executive chef hosts a Sunday Roast with 2 courses for 25,000 kyats or 3 courses for 35,000 kyats
