When you've been rushing around all day, wearing uncomfortable shoes, walking a lot, or standing for long periods, your leg muscles tend to become sore and achy. If your legs are feeling sore, do you readers already know what methods you can use to relieve the soreness?
If you don't know yet, let's continue reading this article. You can relieve the soreness using items that are already available in your kitchen.
Hot Water
Put a towel into hot water, then wring it out until the water stops dripping. Place that towel over the sore, aching leg. You'll need to keep it there until the warm towel cools down to normal room temperature.
If you have a hot water bottle at home, you can use that too. You'll need to keep it in place until the soreness is relieved.
Vinegar
Mix about 125 ml of apple cider vinegar with hot water. Then, soak your leg in a basin containing this hot water mixture for about 15 minutes. Once the time is up, rinse off the apple cider vinegar with water.
You can also drink apple cider vinegar with warm water in the morning. If you want it to taste better, you can add honey to it.
Ice Cubes
Put ice cubes into a plastic bag (or a towel) and wrap them up. Massage the sore leg with this ice pack using circular motions.
Olive Oil and Dried Chili
Mix about 1 teaspoon of dried chili powder with 2 ounces of olive oil and let it sit overnight. Apply and massage about 1 or 2 tablespoons of this chili-olive oil mixture onto the sore leg. If you do this before going to bed at night, the soreness will disappear as if it was never there.
If you use this method, you should be careful not to rub your eyes or other body parts with oily hands. After you've finished applying and massaging your leg thoroughly, you'll need to wash your hands.
