Did you know that ingredients found in your kitchen can be used for your clothes too?
One kitchen ingredient that can make your clothes bright and sparkling is the lemon.
If you know how useful lemons can be, you'll be able to keep your white clothes looking new for a long time without them becoming worn and dingy.
We'd like to share with our readers three methods of using lemons to remove stubborn stains and dirt.
Method (1)
Put 2 liters of water in a large pot and bring it to a boil. Once it's boiling, squeeze in the juice of 3 lemons. Then add 1 tablespoon of salt and stir well. Mix the resulting lemon water thoroughly with 4 tablespoons of laundry detergent.
Then soak your clothes in that water for about 40 minutes. Once the time is up, rinse the clothes thoroughly with water about 3 times. Once the clothes are dry, you'll see that they have become bright and sparkling.
This method is also useful for the underarm and collar areas of clothes that are stained and dirty from sweat.
Method (2)
Sprinkle baking soda on the stained area of the clothing. Rub half a lemon over the baking soda on that spot. Then let it sit for about 15 minutes. Once the time is up, wash it with lukewarm water.
Instead of doing it that way, you can also mix the baking soda and lemon juice thoroughly first before rubbing it on.
Method (3)
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Then slice 2 lemons thinly into the boiling water. After that, just soak your clothes in that water for about 40 minutes. Once the time is up, you can wash them as you normally would. You can also put them in the washing machine.
You don't need to worry about your clothes getting damaged from using these methods, so you can use them with confidence.
