Most people think that eating tomatoes raw or in a salad is better for health. However, cooking tomatoes until they're done is actually better for your stomach and health. The same applies to other foods as well.
So, I'd like to share which foods should be cooked in what way in order to get the most nutrition out of them.
Banana
People with diabetes can eat unripe bananas, which contain less sugar, while those who want easier digestion should eat overripe bananas.
Mushroom
When mushrooms are cooked, their vitamin B content is lost, but the toxins within them are also broken down and their antioxidants increase.
Tomato
Eating tomatoes raw gives you more vitamin C, but cooking them provides more fiber and makes them easier to digest.
Carrot
Eating carrots raw is good for health, but cooking them is even better for health. One thing to note when cooking them is that carrots should be cut after boiling, not before. If you cut them before boiling, the nutrients in the carrots will dissolve into the water, making it a waste for your health.
Broccoli
Cooking broccoli is better for bone and joint health.
Bread
Toasted bread is suitable for diabetics because it helps regulate blood sugar levels. Eating whole grain bread, on the other hand, helps your body absorb nutrients more easily.
Beetroot
In one study, 68 people suffering from high blood pressure were given 250 milliliters of beetroot juice to drink every day. As a result, it was found that blood pressure could be reduced.
Alternatively, boiling beetroot has been found to produce more fiber, making it easier to digest.
