To keep your teeth healthy and free from decay, you should carefully rinse your mouth after every meal and brush your teeth regularly twice a day. You should also reduce consumption of sugary foods and eat foods that are beneficial for dental health, such as apples and strawberries.

If you don't take proper care of your teeth using the above methods, you may experience toothache. Since toothache is extremely painful to endure, it's necessary to treat it quickly so it goes away fast.

If you use the home remedies shown below, the pain you're experiencing will disappear as if it were swept away.

Guava Leaves

Boil about four or five guava leaves in water. Once the water starts boiling, remove the guava leaves. When the water becomes lukewarm, add salt and use it to rinse your mouth.

Another method is to chew about two young guava leaves. The pain you're experiencing will go away.

If you do these methods about twice a day, tooth sensitivity and toothache will be relieved. If you can't easily get guava leaves, you can also use betel leaves.

Cinnamon Powder

Mix about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder evenly with five teaspoons of honey. Apply the resulting paste to cover the aching tooth and the surrounding area.

This method should be done about two to three times a day.

Garlic

Crush one clove of garlic until flattened, then mix it with salt. Place the resulting mixture on the painful area.

This method should also be done about twice a day. Garlic can help remove the bacteria that cause toothache.

Salt

Add one teaspoon of salt to a cup of warm water. If you rinse your mouth with this salt water about three or four times a day, your toothache will be relieved.

Onion

Cut an onion into a suitably sized piece and place it on the painful area. Keep it there for about two minutes. If you do this about twice a day, the bacteria causing the toothache will be removed.
