Cleaning the kitchen is really not an easy task. Especially if you're someone who is extremely busy, this kitchen cleaning tends to feel like just another extra chore.

So, I'd like to share some great methods that will let you clean your kitchen within a short amount of time, without having to put in a lot of effort.

If you want to clean your microwave

Squeeze the juice of one lemon and mix it with a cup of water. Add the lemon peel in as well, then put it in the microwave and heat it on the highest temperature for 5 minutes. If time allows, leave it for about 15 minutes. Once done, remove the lemon water. Wipe down the walls of the microwave with a cloth. That's it — you'll have a sparkling clean microwave like new.

If your kitchen has bad odors

Thinly slice one orange, place it in a pot, and add water until the orange slices are submerged. Add a little cinnamon powder, then heat the pot on the stove. Let it come to a boil. After about 5 minutes, your kitchen will be filled with a pleasant fragrance.

How to clean a dirty grater

Cut a lemon in half. Then rub it over the surface of the grater. Afterwards, wash it with warm water. You'll end up with a grater that's as good as new.

To keep the blades in your juicer clean and sharp

Cut a lemon into four pieces. Then freeze them in the refrigerator. Once frozen, put the lemon pieces into the juicer and blend for 1 to 3 minutes. When finished, rinse it with water. This will not only clean the juicer but also sharpen the blades inside.

When plates smell bad and dirty due to leftover food

Sprinkle a little coarse coffee powder onto the plate. Wait a few seconds, then — without using water yet — rub the plate with the coffee powder. Afterwards, rinse it with warm water. That unpleasant-smelling plate will become sparkling clean and fragrant.
