We've all learned since childhood in school lessons that food left out for flies shouldn't be eaten. Eating such food can cause diarrhea and other intestinal diseases, which harm our health.
To stay healthy and avoid these harmful illnesses, let's read together to find out what home remedies can be used to keep flies and insects away from your food.
Apple Cider Vinegar
To use this method, you'll need a bowl, about half a bowl of apple cider vinegar, a plastic bag, and a rubber band. Pour the apple cider vinegar into the bowl, then cover the bowl with the plastic bag, and for extra security, tie it tightly with the rubber band to seal it completely. Poke a hole in the plastic bag with a needle. Then place it near the food you don't want flies landing on. Flies and other insects won't come near anymore.
Red Wine
The things you'll need are about 60 milliliters of red wine, a bowl (or glass), a plastic wrap, a rubber band, and a drop of dish soap. Pour the red wine into the glass, then add the dish soap. Cover the glass tightly with the plastic wrap and seal it further with the rubber band. Then poke a small hole with a needle and place it near the food you don't want flies landing on.
Apple and Cloves
The third method requires one ripe apple and about 30 to 35 cloves. Stick the cloves into the ripe apple. There's no need to peel the apple. Place the apple studded with cloves in the area where flies are swarming. Flies won't even dare to come near it anymore.
