Hello everyone. We've all experienced going out grocery shopping, finding fresh fruits and vegetables, buying a lot of them, and then not being able to eat them due to circumstances, leaving them unused.

This time, here's a great method for keeping everyone's favorite strawberries fresh for a long time.

Ingredients

Strawberries (firm and ripe) – 1 kilogram

Lemon juice – 1 and a half tablespoons

Sugar – 1/4 cup

Bottles (medium-sized) – 3-4 bottles

Preparation

1. First, wash the bottles thoroughly in hot soapy water and let them dry.

2. Put the strawberries in a strainer, wash them with cold water, wipe them with a clean towel, and let them dry. Then cut the strawberries in half.

3. Transfer the halved strawberries into a bowl and sprinkle the lemon juice and sugar over them. Then gently shake and stir slowly.

4. Then transfer the strawberries into the bottles, leaving about an inch of space at the top instead of filling them completely. Once done, seal the bottles with their lids and you can store them in the refrigerator.
