Hello. Cucumbers, which are full of water content, can be used not only as food but also for beauty purposes. Since they are also good for the skin and hair, they are being produced as beauty products such as face masks, face washes, and so on.
Cucumber, which can also be used with aloe vera to treat sunburn, contains 95% water content, which helps hydrate the body. In addition, it is also rich in fiber, antioxidants, and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin K.
Preserving cucumbers, which have so many benefits, is also a challenge. Because of their high water content, they spoil easily, so I'd like to share some good methods for storing them for a long time.
1. Storing in the refrigerator
Required items
Cucumbers, a soft bag with a zip lock, kitchen paper towel
Wrap the cucumber tightly in a kitchen paper towel, put it into the bag and seal it, then store it in the refrigerator.
If you follow this method, the cucumbers will last for about a week to ten days.
2. Peeling and slicing before storing
Required items
Cucumber (peeled and sliced), an airtight container, kitchen paper towel
Peel a medium-sized cucumber and cut it lengthwise into 4 pieces. Place the cucumber pieces into an airtight container and cover the top of the cucumbers with a kitchen paper towel.
If you put the container in the refrigerator and store it, the cucumbers will last for about a week.
