Hello everyone! We're not sure, but there seem to be quite a few potato lovers among MyFood Myanmar's dear readers. Whether it's fried, boiled, baked, or roasted, no matter how you like to cook them, you all enjoy potatoes, don't you?

Since potatoes are a vegetable that's commonly added to all kinds of dishes when cooking, most people tend to buy a lot of them at once and store them.

However, if you don't know the proper way to store them, they can end up rotting and going bad even before you get the chance to eat them. So how should you store them properly to keep them fresh for a long time?

Net bag

Put the potatoes into a net bag and tie it up. Then store them in a cool, dark place.

Wrapping in newspaper

Wrap four or five medium-sized potatoes in a sheet of newspaper.

Put the newspaper-wrapped potatoes into a cardboard box and keep them in a cool, dark place away from heat.
