You probably won't believe it if we say you can easily make a chocolate lava cake in just 5 minutes. But there really is a method that's super easy to make it with. The main thing you need is just a microwave.
You only need one cupcake-style chocolate cake and one piece of chocolate.
Here's how to do it: take one cupcake-style chocolate cake and scoop out the middle with a spoon. You don't need to scoop all the way down to the bottom. Just scoop out about half, enough to fit in one piece of chocolate. A round spoon works even better for this.
Once you've scooped out a little hole, place a piece of chocolate inside. A chocolate ball/chunk will be easier to put in. After adding the chocolate, cover it back up with the piece of cake you scooped out, then place it upside down onto a plate. After that, put it in the microwave for a short while.
As soon as you take it out of the microwave, it's ready to eat. The moment you break it open with a spoon, the melted chocolate flows out, giving you a delicious chocolate lava cake.
