Ingredients
- 1/4 of a cabbage head (thinly sliced)
- 60 grams of bean sprouts
- 2 carrots (cut into thin strips)
- 2 cucumbers (cut into small cubes)
- 2 stalks of spring onion (thinly sliced)
- 1.5 viss (about 600g) chicken (boiled and shredded)
- Half a bowl of chili-garlic sauce
- 6 tablespoons of honey and 5 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons of vinegar and 4 tablespoons of lime juice
- A small amount of peanuts
Step-by-step instructions
1. Boil the bean sprouts until soft.
2. In a large bowl, add the chicken, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, and spring onion, then mix well. After that, cover the bowl and let it marinate for about an hour.
3. In a small bowl, combine the chili-garlic sauce, honey, oil, vinegar, and lime juice, and mix well. This also needs to be left to marinate for about an hour.
4. Once the time is up, pour the sour sauce mixture into the chicken bowl and mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.
5. After tasting and adjusting the seasoning to your liking, you'll have a delicious spicy chicken salad ready.
Then, transfer a portion you'd like to eat onto a plate and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top. The remaining chicken salad can be stored in the refrigerator.
