Hello everyone. Using too much oil can cause obesity and thus harm your health. Especially when frying foods, we tend to use more oil than usual.
So this time, instead of frying with lots of oil, I'd like to share a recipe for baked potato fries that use only a small amount of oil.
Ingredients
- Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Finely minced garlic - 2 tablespoons
- Potatoes - about 1.5 lbs
- Finely chopped coriander leaves - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Step-by-step instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
2. Heat a pan, add oil, and add the garlic. Then sauté over low heat for about 5 minutes to infuse the oil with garlic flavor.
3. Remove the garlic pieces, then brush the garlic-infused oil onto the baking tray that will be used for baking the potatoes.
4. Wash the potatoes, then first cut them into round slices. After that, cut them again to form potato strips (fries).
5. Spread the potato fries evenly onto the tray that was earlier brushed with oil. Sprinkle a little salt over them.
6. Then place the tray in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Once the bottoms of the potato fries turn golden brown, flip them to the other side and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.
7. Now you'll have delicious baked potato fries. Add the sautéed garlic pieces, the prepared coriander leaves, and a little salt to the potato fries, then toss well to mix evenly.
After that, transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy to your heart's content with your favorite dipping sauce or condiments.
