I'd like to share a recipe for tasty crispy fried fish fillets, for those who don't want to eat fish curry with rice, but instead want to munch on it crispy like fried chicken as a snack.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb fish fillets
- A little salt and ground pepper
- 128 grams of bread crumbs (about one small bowlful)
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 lemon
Step by Step Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Line the baking tray you'll put in the oven with parchment paper or an oil-absorbing sheet, or you can spray it with cooking oil spray. This way, the fried fish won't stick to the tray.
3. Sprinkle the fish fillets with salt and ground pepper.
4. In a plate, mix the bread crumbs together with thinly sliced coriander until evenly combined.
Place the flour separately in another plate.
In a third bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed, then stir in the mayonnaise until evenly combined.
5. Next, dip the fish fillet into the flour to coat it. Then dip it into the egg mixture. Finally, coat it with the bread crumb mixture.
Repeat this process for all the remaining fish fillets.
6. Arrange the coated fish fillets in rows on the baking tray.
7. Then place it in the oven and bake for 16 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the lemon into four wedges.
8. Once the fish fillets are cooked through, you can serve them with your favorite sour sauce and lemon wedges.
