Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share how to prepare a sago pudding dessert for those who like to have something sweet after every meal.

Ingredients

  • Sago - 70 grams
  • Custard powder - 30 grams
  • Cow's milk - 500 milliliters
  • Eggs - 2
  • Sugar - 70 grams

  • Fresh milk - 80 milliliters
  • Butter - 20 grams

Step-by-step instructions

1. Add the sago seeds into boiling water and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

Once the sago seeds turn clear, remove from the stove. Then cover and leave for about 15 minutes. When the time is up, rinse the sago with water.

2. In a bowl, mix the custard powder with 250 milliliters of cow's milk until well combined. Then crack in the eggs and stir until smooth.

3. In a pot, add the remaining half of the cow's milk, fresh milk, butter, and sugar, and cook over low heat. (There's no need to cook until it boils.)

Once the milk has warmed up sufficiently, slowly pour in the custard-egg mixture little by little, stirring continuously.

When the milk mixture has thickened, you can remove it from the stove. Then pour in the sago seeds and stir until well combined.

4. Divide the resulting sago milk mixture evenly into small individual bowls. Then place them on a tray.

Place them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
