Hello everyone! For those who love fried tofu, this time I'd like to share a recipe for stir-frying tofu together with preserved duck egg.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of tofu
  • 100 grams of chicken (thinly sliced)
  • 2 chili peppers (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger

  • 1 preserved duck egg (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 5 grams of spring onion leaves
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar and cooking oil

Step-by-step method

1. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the tofu pieces and fry them. When the tofu pieces turn golden brown, remove them from the pan and let them cool. Then cut them into bite-sized pieces.

2. In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, and once the oil is hot, add the garlic and ginger, stir-frying until fragrant.

3. Next, add the chicken pieces and stir-fry. Once the chicken is cooked, add the chili peppers and tofu, and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes.

4. In the next step, add 3 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, and 2 teaspoons of sugar, and stir-fry for another minute.

5. Then add the spring onion leaves and preserved duck egg, and stir-fry until well combined.

After that, taste for seasoning and then transfer to a plate. Now you have a delicious fried tofu with preserved duck egg ready to enjoy.
