Hello everyone! For those who say they can't enjoy their rice without a nice hot bowl of soup, this time I want to share the recipe for pork meatball soup with bean sprouts.
Ingredients needed to make the pork meatballs
- Pork 250 grams
- Spring onions 2 stalks
- A one-inch piece of ginger
- Hot water 125 milliliters
- A little salt and ground pepper
- Egg 1
- Clear fish sauce 1 tablespoon
- Corn starch 2 tablespoons
Ingredients needed to make the soup
- Cooking oil 2 tablespoons
- Tomato 1
- Bean sprouts 150 grams
- A one-inch piece of ginger
- A little salt and water 3 liters
Step-by-step preparation method
1. Soak the ginger and spring onions in 125 grams of hot water for about 20 minutes.
2. Slice the pork thinly, then put it into a meat grinder/blender and blend for about 1 minute. Add salt, ground pepper, fish sauce, and the egg, then blend again. Add the spring onions and ginger, then blend for another 2 minutes.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of corn starch and a little water, then blend until the meat becomes smooth and soft.
After that, shape the finely blended meat into meatballs.
4. Slice the tomato thinly and fry it until it becomes soft and mushy. Then add 3 liters of water, a third of the bean sprouts, ginger, and other ingredients into the pot and let it boil for about 25 minutes.
5. Once the soup comes to a boil, add the meatballs and let them cook until they float to the surface. Add salt and ground pepper, then taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
Once all these steps are complete, you will have a delicious bowl of pork meatball soup with bean sprouts.
