Hello everyone! Are you feeling down because you're sick and your energy levels are low? To help restore the energy you've lost, even if you're not feeling well, you still need to eat enough to stay nourished.

When you're not feeling well, rice porridge is one of the best foods to help you regain your energy. This time, the porridge recipe we'd like to share is how to make beef rice porridge.

Ingredients

  • Half a condensed milk tin of rice
  • 1 liter of water
  • Half a tablespoon of oil
  • 1 carrot (cut into small cube shapes)
  • 2 stalks of spring onion (thinly sliced)

  • 100 grams of beef (thinly sliced)
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper

Step-by-step instructions

1. Soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes. While the rice is soaking, prepare the carrot, spring onion, and beef. Also set 1 liter of water to boil until it comes to a boil.

2. After half an hour, drain the rice and mix it thoroughly with 1 tablespoon of oil.

3. Add the oil-coated rice into the pot of boiling water and stir well.

4. Cook on high heat for about 8 minutes, stirring continuously so the rice doesn't stick to the pot. Then, lower the heat to the lowest setting and let it simmer for about 40 minutes until it boils gently. Keep the lid half covered. You'll also need to stir it frequently.

5. Once the porridge is bubbling nicely, add the beef and carrot, and let it cook for another 3 minutes.

6. Next, add the spring onion, salt, and ground black pepper, and let it cook for another minute.

7. After tasting and adjusting the seasoning to your liking, you'll have a nutritious bowl of beef rice porridge ready to enjoy.
