Hello everyone. Ginger is something that you'll find in almost every kitchen, no matter which house you check. It wouldn't be wrong to call it a food packed with tremendously beneficial health properties.

This all-around good ginger is often added when cooking various dishes, and sometimes people also make it into a salad to eat.

Normally, people eat it as a snack, and it's also eaten on fasting/observance days. So, let's continue on and see how to make this delicious, medicinal ginger salad at home.

Ingredients

  • Ginger – 125 grams (4 oz)
  • Lime juice – 4-6 tablespoons
  • Peanut oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (sliced) – 12 cloves
  • Sesame seeds – 2-3 tablespoons
  • Salt

Step-by-Step Preparation

1. Peel the ginger, slice it thinly first, then cut it again into fine shreds.

2. Soak the shredded ginger in lime juice for about an hour. The ginger shreds will turn a pink color.

3. Put the peanut oil and sesame oil into a pot, heat it up, and slowly fry the pre-sliced garlic until it turns golden.

4. As soon as it turns golden brown, immediately remove it from the heat, strain off the oil, and let it cool until it becomes crispy.

5. In a dry pot, add the sesame seeds and stir over low heat until they turn golden brown. As soon as the color changes, immediately transfer them onto a plate and let them cool.

6. Once everything is ready, take the ginger shreds out of the lime juice and put them into a bowl. Add salt, the fried garlic, and sesame seeds, drizzle in a little oil, and mix gently.

Once done, it's ready to enjoy deliciously.
