Hello everyone. Among the many ways to cook chicken curry, this time I want to share a recipe for butter chicken curry.
Ingredients
• Chicken 250 grams (cut into medium-small pieces)
• Cow's milk 250 milliliters
• Cooking oil 60 milliliters
• Fenugreek leaves about 2 sprigs
• Chili peppers 2 (thinly sliced)
• Corn flour 9 tablespoons and wheat flour 8 tablespoons
• Butter 1 tablespoon and vinegar 1 tablespoon
• Egg 1
• Garlic 2 cloves (thinly sliced)
• Water, vegetable oil, salt and pepper powder, a little of each
Step-by-step preparation method
1. In a bowl, add the chicken pieces with half a tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of pepper powder, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and knead well until evenly mixed. Leave it as is for about 1 hour so the flavors soak into the meat.
2. After 1 hour, crack in the egg and knead again until well combined.
3. Mix 8 tablespoons of wheat flour and 8 tablespoons of corn flour together in a bowl.
4. Coat the chicken pieces with this flour mixture.
5. Heat a pot, add oil, and once the oil is hot, fry the chicken pieces for about 4 minutes. Once the chicken pieces turn golden brown, remove them and set aside in a plate.
6. Heat another new pot and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and chili peppers and sauté for about 1 minute.
7. Next, add the fenugreek leaves into the pot. Then add 250 milliliters of cow's milk and 60 milliliters of cooking oil. Add salt and pepper powder, and taste to adjust the seasoning to a mild saltiness.
8. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of corn flour with 1 tablespoon of water until well combined, then pour it into the pot. Stir continuously until the milk mixture thickens. Once the milk mixture has thickened, you can remove it from the stove.
9. As the final step, add the fried chicken pieces into the milk mixture and stir until well combined.
Now you have a fragrant and delicious butter chicken curry. You can enjoy it deliciously with rice.
