Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share an easy way to make fried salmon fish cakes.
Since it doesn't take much time to prepare, this will be a great choice for busy housewives.
Ingredients
- About 14 oz of deboned salmon
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- About 1/3 of a shallot (thinly sliced)
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- About 3/4 cup of bread crumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1/8 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves
- A pinch of ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Step-by-step instructions
Put all the ingredients — the finely flaked fish, the beaten eggs, garlic, bread crumbs, salt, paprika powder, coriander leaves, and ground pepper — into a large bowl and mix well (set aside the vegetable oil only).
Once everything is thoroughly mixed, shape them into medium-sized patties.
Next, heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the vegetable oil and wait until the oil is hot. Once the oil is hot, you can add the fish cakes to fry.
Fry each side for about 4 minutes.
Once both sides are fried, garnish with vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers to make it more appetizing, and enjoy it deliciously. Since salmon is rich in Omega-3, eating it regularly is especially good for your health.
