Hello everyone! For those who love fried foods, this time I'd like to share a healthy recipe for fried cauliflower pancakes that use only a small amount of oil.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 pound (about half a head)
  • Onion - half
  • Salt - half a teaspoon
  • Cheese - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 (beaten)

  • Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder and black pepper powder - a small amount each
  • Spring onions - 3 stalks (thinly sliced)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Step-by-step instructions

1. Cut the cauliflower into medium-sized pieces, and slice the garlic thinly. Put the cauliflower florets and onion into a food processor.

2. Then add the salt and blend until it becomes fine crumbs. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

3. During this time, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

4. Put the cauliflower mixture from earlier into a clean cloth and squeeze out all the liquid.

5. Once done, put the cauliflower mixture into a large bowl. Then add the cheese, egg, corn flour, garlic powder, black pepper powder, and spring onions, and knead until well combined.

6. Line a baking tray with oil-absorbing paper, then divide the cauliflower pancake mixture evenly into 6 portions and place them on the tray. Brush the pancakes with oil. Sprinkle a little salt on top.

7. Then place it in the oven and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Once the set time is up, you'll have golden brown fried cauliflower pancakes ready to enjoy.
