Hello everyone! This time, the recipe I'd like to share is crispy fried chicken that's well-marinated and coated with a double batter.
Ingredients
- 1.1 lb chicken (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
- 1 fresh green chili (thinly sliced)
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 100 grams wheat flour and 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 12 tablespoons water
Step-by-step preparation method
1. Place the chicken pieces into a large bowl. Then add the ginger, chili, cumin powder, coriander leaves, and chili powder, and mix everything together thoroughly. Cover it and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a wok.
Take the chicken pieces out of the refrigerator and mix them thoroughly with salt, garlic, wheat flour, corn flour, and baking soda. Add water little by little and knead until it forms a batter. (You don't need to add all the water.)
3. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry for about 4 to 5 minutes until they turn golden brown.
4. Once all the chicken has been fried, transfer it to a plate and sprinkle a little coriander leaves on top.
And there you have it - delicious crispy fried chicken!
You can enjoy dipping it in your favorite sauce for a delicious taste.
