Whether you want to impress special guests at home with a lunch spread or treat them to a dinner spread, I'd like to share a recipe that will make your guests admire your cooking skills and leave them craving for more. It's a cheesy chicken recipe made with tomatoes and bell peppers.
Ingredients
- 3 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 bell pepper (using half red and half yellow bell pepper makes it look more appetizing and attractive)
- 1 onion
- 2 tomatoes
- About half a bowl of cheese, grated into strips
- About 3½ tablespoons of mayonnaise
- A little salt
- A little ground black pepper
Step-by-step Instructions
Wrap each piece of chicken breast in a plastic bag and pound it with a mallet. Then slice the chicken breast in half lengthwise. After that, sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper. Line the baking tray with foil, then place the chicken pieces on the foil.
Slice the bell pepper, onion, and tomatoes into rings.
Next, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Evenly distribute the sliced onion rings, tomato rings, and bell pepper rings on top of the chicken pieces prepared earlier.
Next, pipe the mayonnaise on top. To make the mayonnaise drizzle look neat, put it into a piping bag, like the one used for piping cream after baking a cake (if you don't have one, poke a small hole in a plastic bag, fill it with mayonnaise, and squeeze it out onto the chicken pieces).
Evenly distribute the cheese on top of the mayonnaise. Then place it in the oven for about 25 minutes.
And there you have it - cheesy chicken with bell peppers and tomatoes is ready to serve.
