Hello everyone! Instead of eating your oven-roasted chicken with ready-made marinades and sauces, wouldn't you like to try it with a delicious cheesy tomato sauce?
Ingredients
- 4 pieces chicken breast
- 2 cloves garlic
- 6 tablespoons cheese
- 1 and a half tablespoons tomato paste
- 8 tablespoons heavy cream
- Half tablespoon butter
- 125 milliliters water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- A pinch of salt
Step-by-step Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Pat the chicken pieces dry with a clean cloth, then pound them flat with a meat mallet. Next, sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the chicken.
3. Heat a pan and add the olive oil. Fry each side of the chicken for 3 minutes.
4. Place the fried chicken into a heatproof baking dish and sprinkle cheese over the chicken (leave a little cheese aside for making the tomato sauce). Then put it in the oven for about 8 to 10 minutes. (The oven temperature should be at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit while the chicken is baking.)
5. While the chicken is baking, make the tomato sauce. Heat a pan over medium heat, add the thinly sliced garlic, and stir for about 30 seconds.
6. Next, add the heavy cream, water, and tomato paste, and let it simmer until it starts to bubble (about 4 minutes). Once it's bubbling, add salt, black pepper, and a little butter, then stir again.
7. Once the chicken is fully roasted, transfer it to a serving plate, drizzle the cheesy tomato sauce over the chicken, and enjoy it deliciously.
You can serve it with rice, or pair it with vegetables as well.
