Hello everyone! For those who love various international cuisines and enjoy preparing and cooking new and unusual dishes, this time we'd like to share with you how to make sweet and sour pork with mixed fruits and vegetables, a Korean dish.

Ingredients

  • Pork 1 viss (or Beef 1 viss)
  • 1 teaspoon thinly sliced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt

  • A small amount of wood ear mushrooms (soak in water for about 1 hour 30 minutes)
  • A small amount of rice flour
  • 1 egg
  • About 1/3 cup of thinly sliced onion
  • 1 carrot (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • About 1/4 of a pineapple (cut into round slices)
  • 1 red apple (cut into medium-sized pieces)
  • About 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2.5 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 4.5 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Step-by-step instructions

Cut the pork into medium-sized pieces and marinate with salt, ginger, and black pepper powder. Remove the soaked wood ear mushrooms from the water and cut into medium-sized pieces.

Add water to the rice flour and wait for a few minutes until it settles, then pour off the water. After pouring off the water, mix the beaten egg with the settled rice flour. Once done, coat the pork pieces with this rice flour and egg mixture.

Heat oil in a frying pot and fry the pork pieces one by one. Place the fried pork pieces onto a plate and let them cool.

Next, it's time to stir-fry the fruits and vegetables.

Set the pot to medium heat, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil, and heat it up. Then stir-fry the wood ear mushrooms, onions, and carrots for about 1 minute. Next, add the apple and stir for another minute.

Next, add 3 cups of water, sugar, vinegar, and salt, and wait for it to come to a boil. When the water added is almost dried up, remove it from the stove.

Then, pour it into a bowl.

As the final step, pour the stir-fried fruits and sauce over the fried pork pieces.

Once done, you can enjoy the taste of sweet and sour pork with mixed fruits and vegetables.
