Hello everyone! For those who want to enjoy a delicious beef steak, I'd like to share how to make crispy fried beef steak coated in a double breading.

Ingredients

  • Buttermilk - 24 tablespoons
  • Eggs - 2
  • Salt - 2 teaspoons
  • Ground black pepper - 4 teaspoons
  • Beef cube steaks - 4 pieces (about 6 ounces each)

  • All-purpose flour - 2 full bowls
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon and paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 8 tablespoons
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Beef broth - 24 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix together the buttermilk, eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper until well combined. Then add the beef cube steaks into the mixture to soak. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.

Make sure the beef steaks are fully submerged in the milk mixture.

2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, remaining salt and ground black pepper, onion powder, and paprika until well combined.

3. Next, remove the beef steaks from the milk mixture and coat both sides with flour. Dip back into the milk mixture, then coat both sides with flour again. Dip back into the milk mixture once more and coat with flour a final time.

Repeat this process three times for each of the remaining beef steaks as described above.

4. Place the double-breaded beef steaks on a wire rack set over a baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill.

5. Once the time is up, heat a pan. Add oil, and once the oil is hot, fry the beef steaks for about 3 to 4 minutes. Then flip to the other side and fry for another 3 to 4 minutes.

Place the finished fried beef steak on a plate. Drizzle with your favorite sauce and enjoy it with a side of fried vegetables for a delicious meal.
