Hello everyone! For those who want to cook and enjoy shrimp with great flavor, I'd like to share how to make coconut-crusted grilled shrimp.
Ingredients
- 450 grams shrimp (washed with water and shelled)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 225 grams breadcrumbs
- 225 grams shredded coconut
Step-by-step instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Spread the breadcrumbs evenly on a baking tray, spray with cooking oil, and bake in the oven for about 2 minutes. Then shake the tray and bake for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Transfer the resulting breadcrumbs into a bowl. Mix the shredded coconut evenly with the breadcrumbs.
3. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Then add the coconut oil, flour, garlic, and salt, and mix well.
4. Line the baking tray that will go into the oven with parchment paper.
5. Hold the shrimp by the tail and dip it into the egg mixture. Then coat it with the shredded coconut mixture. Then place it on the baking tray.
Repeat this process for all the remaining shrimp as described above. Leave about an inch and a half of space between each shrimp on the tray.
6. Lightly spray some oil over the shrimp.
7. Then put the tray into the oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Once the time is up, you'll have golden-brown coconut-crusted grilled shrimp ready. You can enjoy it deliciously dipped in your favorite sauce or dip.
