Hello everyone! For those who love pounded papaya salad with its spicy kick, this time I'd like to share a recipe for Fried Papaya with Long Bean Salad - a different version with a new flavor you can try.
Ingredients
• Green papaya 100 grams (sliced thinly into strips)
• Peanuts 20 grams and dried shrimp 20 grams
• Corn flour 40 grams
• Long beans 20 grams (cut into about 3 centimeter pieces)
• Tomatoes 3 pieces
Step-by-step Method
1. Put the corn flour in a bowl, then coat the sliced papaya strips with the corn flour.
2. In a mortar, pound the dried shrimp, garlic, and chili peppers together until mashed. Pour in 2 tablespoons of fish sauce and pound again.
3. Next, add the long beans and peanuts into the mortar and pound again until mashed. Once done, scoop it into a bowl, add a squeeze of lime juice, and mix well.
4. Heat a pot, add oil, and once the oil is hot, fry the papaya strips for about 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Once the papaya turns golden brown, remove it onto a plate, then mix it thoroughly with the pounded dried shrimp and long bean mixture prepared earlier. Then add the thinly sliced tomatoes and mix again. Once everything is done, taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
Now you can enjoy this Fried Papaya with Long Bean Salad, which is full of complete flavor and aroma, to your heart's content.
