Hello everyone! This time, the dish I want to share is cheese-stuffed fried pork cutlet.
Ingredients
- 2 slices American cheese (cut each in half)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking wine
- 128 grams flour
- 2 pieces boneless pork loin (sliced about one thumb's thickness)
- 128 grams breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- Peanut oil
Step-by-step instructions
1. Slice the pork loin into pieces about half a thumb thick and five inches long. Then, cut each piece from the middle, splitting it into two halves and open it up like a book. (You don't need to cut all the way through — it's just so you can fit the cheese inside.)
2. Cover the pork cutlet with plastic wrap and pound it flat with a meat mallet.
3. Rub one side of the pork cutlet with salt, ground pepper, and cooking wine, then let it rest for about 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes are up, place the cheese on one half of the pork and fold the other half over to close it back into its original shape.
4. Coat the cheese-stuffed pork cutlet with flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs. After that, coat it with breadcrumbs.
5. Heat a pot, add oil, and fry the pork cutlets for about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, remove the pork cutlets with a slotted spoon, draining off the oil. Then, let them drain on oil-absorbing paper for about 3 to 4 minutes.
6. To make the pork cutlet crispy, fry each half in hot oil for about 30 seconds.
Now you have a delicious cheese-stuffed fried pork cutlet ready. Right before serving, place it on a plate, slice into about one-inch pieces, and enjoy its great taste.
