If you're someone who loves Korean food, you'll surely love Korean kimchi fried rice. So here's how to fry it so you can make it at home easily and deliciously without any hassle.
Since making kimchi yourself is a hassle, just buy ready-made kimchi from outside. Take about a handful of kimchi and squeeze the liquid into a bowl. Then cut the kimchi solids into small pieces.
If you have Korean gochujang sauce, you can buy that sauce at City Mart. If you don't have it, Korean red chilli sauce will also work. Take about 1 heaping tablespoon of that sauce and mix it into the bowl with the squeezed-out kimchi liquid. Add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, half a teaspoon of fish sauce, and half a teaspoon of sugar, and mix well.
Put 150 grams of thinly sliced pork into a bowl. Add 1 and a half teaspoons of fish sauce and mix well.
Cut the beans into small pieces, about enough to fill a small bowl.
Take rice to fill one large bowl and put it aside.
Add oil to the pot and put in the sliced kimchi, stirring it in. Also add the sliced pork and fry it together. If the pork slices are too big, you can cut them into smaller pieces. Add the beans and fry them in as well.
Once the pork is tender, add the rice. Pour in the kimchi liquid mixed with the sauce from earlier and stir-fry until everything is evenly combined.
Once it's fried, transfer it to the plate you'll be eating from. Sprinkle a little sesame on top. Then fry an egg and place it on top of the rice. And there you have it — Korean kimchi fried rice, fried easily and deliciously!
