Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share a recipe for Beef Chow Mein with Kimchi that will make noodle lovers' mouths water.
Ingredients
- 8 oz dried noodles
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 oz finely sliced beef (readers can also use pork, chicken, or whatever they prefer)
- 1 bowl of kimchi (finely sliced)
- 2 teaspoons soybean paste
- 62 ml white wine (or water)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- A little cheese
Step-by-step instructions
1. Put the dried noodles into boiling salted water and cook them.
While the noodles are cooking, heat a pot and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the finely sliced beef and stir-fry until it turns brown.
2. Next, add the kimchi, soybean paste, white wine (or water), and chili powder, and stir-fry for about 4 minutes. (If the sauce dries up before 4 minutes, add about 60 ml of the noodle cooking water and continue frying.)
3. Once done, add the noodles and mix thoroughly with the kimchi and beef until well combined. After tasting and adjusting for a mild, salty flavor, you'll have a delicious kimchi beef chow mein.
Just before taking it off the stove, sprinkle a little cheese on top and you can enjoy it deliciously.
