Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share a simple and easy-to-make yet delicious Korean dish called shredded beef rice.
Ingredients
- About 1 pound of beef
- 5 cloves of garlic
- About 1 tablespoon of thinly sliced ginger
- About 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- A little fish sauce
- Rice
- About 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- A quarter teaspoon of thinly sliced chili
- 6 stalks of spring onion
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Step-by-step instructions
1. Shred the beef finely. Smash the garlic cloves flat. Also thinly slice the spring onions.
2. Heat a pot, add oil, and wait for the oil to get hot. Once the oil is hot, add the beef and fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
3. Then add the garlic, ginger, and sesame oil into the pot and stir for about two minutes until fragrant. Add the fish sauce, brown sugar, and chili, and fry together. For the fish sauce to soak well into the beef, you'll need to stir-fry continuously for about 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, add about half of the spring onions.
4. After that, take the beef off the stove and spoon it over the rice. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and remaining spring onions on top of the beef, and you can enjoy it deliciously.
