For fried rice lovers, I'd like to share a recipe for ham fried rice that you can enjoy warm and delicious.
Ingredients
- Cooking oil - 2 1/2 tablespoons
- Ham - 12 oz (cut into cubes about one inch each side)
- Rice - 4 full bowls
- Eggs - 4 (beaten)
- Green peas - half a bowl
- Spring onions - 2 stalks (thinly sliced)
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Butter or sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons and oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves (finely chopped)
Steps to prepare
1. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and garlic thoroughly until well combined.
2. Heat a wok/pan and add 2 teaspoons of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the beaten eggs and scramble-fry them. Then transfer to a plate.
3. Add all the remaining oil into the wok. Add the ham cubes and fry for about 4 to 5 minutes.
4. Once the ham has turned golden brown, pour the rice and the soy sauce mixture into the wok. Then stir-fry thoroughly until well mixed. (You can add more oil if needed.)
5. Next, add the fried scrambled eggs, green peas, and spring onions, and stir-fry thoroughly until well combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed, and just before removing from the heat, add the butter or sesame oil and stir-fry.
6. Then garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions. And there you have it - delicious ham fried rice!
Now you can enjoy it warm and delicious.
