Since enjoying a hot plate of mixed fried food along with a cup of plain hot tea during a midday break pairs so perfectly with this summer season, I'd like to share a simple and easy recipe for mixed fried food.
Ingredients
About 1 portion of bottle gourd
10 shrimp
0.5 viss (pound) of sea fish fillet (or any fish of your preference)
A little salt and ground pepper
3 eggs (beaten)
60 grams flour
A little vegetable oil
Step-by-step instructions
Peel the bottle gourd, cut it into bite-sized pieces, and rub with salt. Leave it for about 20 minutes.
Remove the shells and heads from the shrimp, wash thoroughly with clean water, and pat dry with a clean cloth. Then cut each shrimp in half lengthwise. Rub both halves of the shrimp with salt and pepper and leave for about 15 minutes.
Wash the fish, pat it dry, and cut it into slices about half an inch thick. Sprinkle salt on both sides of the fish fillets. Leave for about 15 minutes.
Next, coat all three ingredients thoroughly with flour.
Heat a pot, add a tablespoon of oil, and wait until the oil is hot.
Take one piece of shrimp and dip it into the beaten egg.
Then put it into the hot oil and fry each side for about 1 to 2 minutes.
Dip the remaining shrimp and the other ingredients — each fish fillet and each piece of bottle gourd — into the egg one by one, and fry them as well.
Once everything is fried, you can enjoy the delicious hot mixed fried food by dipping it in your favorite sauce or dip.
