Hello everyone! This time, the dish I'd like to share with you all is a Tofu Pork Stir-fry.
Ingredients
- Pork 8 oz (sliced into pieces about half an inch long)
- Corn starch 1 1/2 tsp
- Water 3 tbsp and oil 3 tbsp
- Sugar 1/8 tsp
- Cooking wine 2 tsp and light soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Finely sliced ginger 1 tsp and garlic 1 tbsp
- Carrot 1 (thinly sliced into strips) and red bell pepper 1 (thinly sliced into strips)
- Tofu 8 oz (sliced into strips)
- Dark soy sauce 1/2 tsp
- Sesame oil 1 tsp and water 1 tbsp
Step-by-step instructions
1. Mix the pork well with the corn starch, water, sugar, cooking wine, and light soy sauce, then let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
2. Heat a wok and add 2 tbsp of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the pork and stir-fry until about 50% cooked. Then transfer it to a plate.
3. Add another 1 tbsp of oil into the wok. Then add the ginger and garlic, and let the oil infuse for about 30 seconds. Next, add the carrot, bell pepper, and tofu, and stir-fry for about a minute.
4. Next, add the fried pork from earlier along with the scallions, dark soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and 1 tbsp of water, then stir everything together until well combined.
5. Add salt and taste for seasoning. And there you have it — a delicious Tofu Pork Stir-fry.
Enjoy it together with rice.
