Ingredients
- 1 liter cow's milk and 8 tablespoons
- 6 tablespoons custard powder
- 12 tablespoons sugar
- 4 varieties of colorful fruit jelly (strawberry jelly, banana jelly, mango jelly, and orange jelly)
- Half an apple (cut into small cubes)
- A few green grapes and red grapes (cut in half)
- 1 ripe mango (cut into small cubes)
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
- 4 slices of cake
Step-by-step instructions
1. First, mix 8 tablespoons of cow's milk thoroughly with 6 tablespoons of custard powder.
2. Next, pour 1 liter of cow's milk into a hot pot and heat it for about 3 to 5 minutes until it comes to a boil. You'll need to stir it frequently.
3. Then add 12 tablespoons of sugar and keep it on the heat, stirring continuously, until it comes to a rolling boil.
Once it's boiling well, pour in the earlier milk-custard mixture and stir thoroughly over low heat until well combined. Then remove from the stove, transfer to a large bowl, and let it cool.
4. Mix the 4 kinds of jelly thoroughly, then chop them into small pieces.
Mix the 4 kinds of fruit together thoroughly as well. Then add 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar and mix again until well combined.
5. Next, line the bottom of a long rectangular tray with 4 slices of cake.
Spread about half of the jelly over the cake.
Then pour about half of the milk mixture over it until the jelly is covered.
After that, spread the fruits over it. Then pour the remaining milk mixture over it. Finally, decorate the top surface with cherries or strawberries.
6. Place the tray in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 45 minutes.
Once the chilling time is up, you'll have a delicious Mixed Fruit Egg Custard Pudding dessert ready to enjoy.
