Ingredients
- Rice (or sticky rice) - 1 portion out of 4 portions of a condensed milk tin (wash and soak in water for about 1 hour)
- Ginseng root - 1 piece
- Jujube (red dates) - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 8 cloves (peeled and washed)
- Spring onions - 3 stalks (thinly sliced)

- Chicken - 1 whole (remove the innards and wash thoroughly with water)
- Salt and ground pepper - a little
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon and sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
Step-by-step Method
1. In a small bowl, mix together a little salt, sesame seeds, ground pepper, and sesame oil until well combined.
2. After washing the rice (or sticky rice), put the ginseng, jujube, and garlic inside the chicken.
Pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, put the chicken into the pot, cover it with a lid, and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
Continue simmering until the chicken, ginseng, and rice become soft and tender. If needed, you can add a little more water.
After 30 to 40 minutes, your delicious and nourishing ginseng chicken soup will be ready.
