  • 2 bowls of chicken stock (or pork rib stock)
  • 2 bowls of fresh milk
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • About a quarter teaspoon of coriander leaves
  • A little salt

Step-by-step instructions

Pour the chicken stock and water into a large pot and heat until it comes to a boil. Meanwhile, peel the 3 potatoes and cut them into small pieces.

Cut the smoked pork ham into medium-sized pieces as well. Also slice the carrots, leeks, and coriander leaves.

Heat a pan over medium heat and add the butter. Add the leeks, coriander, and carrots, and stir for about 7 minutes.

Add the diced potatoes into the pot where the soup is cooking. Once the chicken stock is added to the pot, reduce the heat slightly and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the smoked pork ham, leeks, coriander, and carrots, and let it simmer for another 15 minutes.

While waiting for the 15 minutes, put the fresh milk and wheat flour into a bowl and mix well. Once the 15 minutes of simmering is complete, the vegetables, pork pieces, and potato pieces will have softened. At that point, pour the flour-mixed milk into the pot.

Add the coriander leaves into the pot, add salt, and taste for light seasoning. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Once done, pour it into a soup bowl, sprinkle with leeks as garnish, and enjoy its delicious taste. This smoked pork ham and potato soup is truly like heaven for potato lovers.
