Hello everyone! I'd like to share a recipe for fried pork spring rolls that you can enjoy as a snack when you're hungry during the day, or pair with tea or coffee for breakfast on a pleasant morning.
Ingredients
- 100 grams cabbage (sliced thinly into strips)
- 100 grams carrot (sliced thinly into strips)
- 100 grams bean sprouts
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 60 milliliters water
- 450 grams pork (minced finely)
- About 16 sheets of wheat wrapper for rolling the spring rolls
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 and a half tablespoons fish sauce and 1 and a half tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 liter of oil and 1 and a half tablespoons oil
Step-by-Step Method
1. Marinate the finely minced pork with 1/4 tablespoon sugar, 1 and a half tablespoons fish sauce, and 1 and a half tablespoons oyster sauce, mixing well until evenly combined.
2. Mix 1 tablespoon of corn starch with 60 milliliters of water and stir until well combined.
3. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Then add the pork and fry for about 3 minutes. Once fried, transfer it to a plate.
4. Add another 2 tablespoons of oil into the pan, then add the cabbage, carrot, and bean sprouts, and stir-fry for about 4 to 5 minutes.
5. Add the previously fried pork back into the pan, then pour in the 1/4 teaspoon of salt and the corn starch mixture, and fry for about 3 minutes. Now you'll have the filling needed for the spring rolls.
6. Place the filling onto the wheat wrapper, then roll it up into a spring roll.
7. Heat a pan and add 1 liter of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the spring rolls and fry until they turn golden brown.
8. Place the fried spring rolls on oil-absorbing paper to drain off the excess oil.
Now you have delicious fried pork spring rolls ready to enjoy. You can serve them with lettuce and dipping sauce for extra flavor.
