Hello everyone! This time, I want to share a recipe for a spicy shrimp curry that seafood lovers will love.
Ingredients
- Shrimp 12 oz
- Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
- Ginger 7 slices
- Garlic 1 bulb (thinly sliced)
- Spring onion 2 stalks (thinly sliced)
- Ketchup 8 tablespoons
- A little chili powder and sugar
- Cooking wine 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce 1 tablespoon
Step-by-step instructions
1. Wash the shrimp thoroughly under running water. (When the writer cooked this, the shrimp shells were left on. However, if you peel the shrimp and leave just the tail on, it will taste even better.)
2. Heat a wok and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp and fry each side for about 20 seconds. Once the shrimp is about 80% cooked, reduce the heat and transfer it to a plate.
3. Add another 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok. Once the oil is hot, add the ginger slices and fry for about 15 seconds. Add the garlic and spring onion, slightly increase the heat, and fry for about 10 seconds.
4. Add the ketchup and stir for about 15 seconds. Then add the shrimp. Add the chili powder, sugar, and cooking wine, and stir evenly until well combined.
5. After stirring for about 10 seconds, add 1 tablespoon of fish sauce. Fry until the sauce thickens.
Once the shrimp and sauce are thoroughly mixed, you can take it off the stove. And there you have it — a delicious bowl of spicy shrimp curry.
