Hello everyone! This time, for those who love Korean food, we'd like to share a recipe for bean sprout kimchi meat rice.
Ingredients
- 2 cans of rice (using condensed milk cans as measure) and a little water
- 1 bunch (viss) of bean sprouts
- 6 oz beef (or pork), thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon thinly sliced garlic
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice wine
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons kimchi juice and 1 whole bowl of kimchi (cut into half-inch thick pieces)
Ingredients needed for the sauce
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds and 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon thinly sliced garlic
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 stalks spring onion, thinly sliced
Step-by-step instructions
1. After washing the rice, put it into the rice cooker pot and add the appropriate amount of water measured out.
Wash the bean sprouts as well.
2. Cut the beef (or pork) into small pieces, then mix well with garlic, soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil until evenly combined.
3. Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the kimchi and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes. Then add the kimchi juice and the meat, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. (There's no need to fully cook the meat through at this stage.)
4. Next, spread the bean sprouts over the rice that has already been soaked and measured in the pot. On top of the bean sprouts, spread the kimchi and meat stir-fry that was fried earlier. Then just cook it like you normally cook a pot of rice.
5. While the rice is cooking, you can prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, chili powder, sesame seeds, garlic, sugar, and spring onion, and mix well until evenly combined.
6. Once the rice pot is done cooking, gently stir the rice together with the bean sprouts and kimchi-meat stir-fry until well combined.
And there you have it — a delicious bowl of bean sprout kimchi rice. You can enjoy it deliciously paired with the spicy sauce prepared earlier.
