Hello everyone! This time, the dish we'd like to share is grilled beef ribs. We want to share with MyFood Myanmar's readers what kind of sauce to marinate them in for great flavor, and how to grill them.

Ingredients

  • About 1 lb beef ribs
  • 1 apple
  • 1 piece of ginger, about 2 inches long
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 8 tablespoons fish sauce

  • 8 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 stalks spring onion (thinly sliced)
  • About a handful of toasted sesame seeds

Step-by-step method

1. Cut the apple into small pieces and put it into a blender. Then add the ginger, garlic, fish sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, and blend until smooth.

2. Pour the resulting sauce into a sealable bag, then add the beef ribs. Seal the bag tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, up to 8 or even 10 hours.

3. Just before grilling, preheat the grill to 350°F. Drain the marinated beef ribs thoroughly, then grill them on the grill for about 4 minutes. Flip to the other side and grill for another 4 minutes.

4. Once grilled, transfer to a plate and let rest for about 5 minutes. Then cut the beef ribs into pieces about 2 inches long using scissors.

Sprinkle spring onion and sesame seeds on top as garnish. Now you can enjoy delicious grilled beef ribs.
