Hello everyone! For those who love grilled meat, this time I want to share how to make chicken skewers.
Ingredients
- Chicken thigh 900 grams (about 2 lbs)
- Spring onion (scallion) about 10 oz
- Red wine 2 tablespoons
- Salt, black pepper powder, and a little oil
- Tomato sauce (or) chili sauce and bamboo skewers for making the skewers
(Instead of chicken, you can grill beef or pork according to your preference, and instead of spring onion, you can also substitute bell pepper.)
Step-by-step instructions
Soak the bamboo skewers in hot water for about 30 minutes.
Remove the skin and bones from the chicken thigh and cut into small bite-sized pieces. Put the chicken pieces into a large bowl and mix thoroughly with the red wine, salt, and black pepper. Let it sit for about 5 minutes so that the seasoning powder and wine soak into the meat.
Once the soaked bamboo skewers have reached their time, take them out and wipe them dry with a clean cloth. Then thread the spring onion and chicken pieces onto the skewers alternately.
Heat up the grill and brush it with oil. Once done, place the chicken skewers on the grill and cook them. After 3 minutes, flip the skewers to the other side. Then brush the sauce onto the grilled chicken and grill for another 2 minutes. You will need to brush the sauce and grill the other side in the same way.
Once the chicken is thoroughly cooked, transfer it to a plate and enjoy it deliciously paired with a cold drink.
