Hello everyone! For those who love fried rice, I'd like to share a recipe for spicy and sour fried rice cooked with kimchi flavor.

Ingredients

  • Oil for frying
  • 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced ginger
  • 3 bowls of rice
  • 2 small bowls of green peas and carrots

  • 16 tablespoons kimchi
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 3 eggs (2 beaten, and the remaining 1 half-fried)
  • 2 tablespoons chili paste
  • A small amount of sesame oil and sesame seeds

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Heat the wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry until fragrant.

2. Next, add the rice, green peas, carrots, kimchi, and fish sauce, and stir-fry for a few minutes.

3. Then, make a well in the center of the fried rice, and pour the beaten eggs into that empty space in the middle. Stir-fry for a few minutes until well combined.

4. After tasting for a light saltiness, you can add a little more fish sauce if needed.

Once everything is fried, transfer it to a plate and enjoy it deliciously together with the half-fried egg. You can garnish it by sprinkling on some chili sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds, and if you like spring onions, you can add some of those too.
