Hello everyone! For those who love eating with a hot, spicy soup every time they have rice, this time I'd like to share how to make a delicious Korean style spicy tofu soup.
Ingredients
- 1 liter of water
- 3 tablespoons of chili oil and 2 teaspoons of chili powder
- 3 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
- A little seaweed
- 1 cucumber (thinly sliced, then cut into half-moon shapes)
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- A little mushroom (thinly sliced)
- 1 Korean radish (thinly sliced and cut into half-moon shapes)
- 1 block of tofu (cut into small cubes)
- 4 stalks of spring onion (thinly sliced)
Step-by-step instructions
1. Set a pot over medium heat and add water. Then add the chili oil, garlic, seaweed, and chili powder, and let it come to a boil.
2. Once it's boiling, add the cucumber, onion, mushroom, radish, and tofu, and let it boil again.
3. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 15 minutes. This will allow the vegetables to soften.
4. Then taste it lightly for seasoning, and if needed, add salt and ground pepper, or add more spice if you prefer it spicier.
Now you have a delicious Korean style spicy tofu soup. You can enjoy it hot and tasty together with rice.
