Hello everyone! This time, for those who love Korean food, I'd like to share a recipe for pork belly stir-fried with mixed vegetables.
Ingredients
- 800 grams pork belly (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, 4 tablespoons chili paste, 2½ tablespoons soybean sauce, and 1½ tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger and 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons rice wine
- 60 grams apple (blended into a paste using a juicer)
- 60 grams onion (thinly sliced)
- a little ground black pepper
- 100 grams carrot and 100 grams cabbage (thinly sliced)
- 110 grams Korean rice cakes (soaked in hot water for about 10 to 20 minutes)
- oil for frying
Step-by-step instructions
1. Put the pork belly pieces into a large bowl. Then add the chili paste, soybean sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, rice wine, chili powder, apple, onion, and ground black pepper, and mix well until evenly combined.
Then let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. (You can also refrigerate it and let it marinate overnight.)
2. Heat a wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated pork, carrot, cabbage, and rice cakes, and stir well until evenly mixed.
3. Once fried thoroughly and the pork is fully cooked, you'll have a delicious Korean-style pork belly dish.
Now you can enjoy it deliciously with hot rice.
