• Two tablespoons of chili paste
• One tablespoon of chili powder
• One tablespoon of fish sauce
• One tablespoon of sugar
• One teaspoon of thinly sliced spring onion
• One teaspoon of thinly sliced ginger
• One teaspoon of sesame seeds
• A pinch of black pepper powder
Step-by-step preparation method
1. Mix all the ingredients needed for the sauce together in a bowl.
2. Wash the eel and then cut it into thin slices.
3. Next, mix the eel thoroughly with the sauce that was prepared earlier.
4. Cut the spring onion, onion, and carrot into about 2-inch long pieces.
5. Heat a pot and add vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the carrot, onion, and spring onion, and stir-fry for about two minutes.
6. After that, add the eel that was mixed with the sauce into the pot and fry it. After stir-frying thoroughly for about two minutes, the delicious spicy fried eel is ready to be enjoyed together with rice.
One thing to be careful about when frying this dish is to make sure not to overcook the eel.
